Everything You Need to Know: WoW Forever Launch Overview
World of Warcraft: Forever serves as a permanent game version alongside modern and Classic WoW, with a focus on community and leveling. Set after the events of Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core, the journey takes adventurers across the original continents to level 60.
The game expands the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor with new and reimagined zones alongside more than 1,000 new quests across the leveling journey. Character creation features 9 classes across 27 specialization trees, and opens new race and class combinations including Orc Mages, Troll Warlocks, Undead Paladins, Human Hunters, Gnome Priests, Dwarf Shamans, and the debut of the Skyborne.
Launch Schedule and Realmless Structure
Rather than dividing players across isolated server boundaries, the world is organized around shared regional rulesets. Access is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. The global release goes live on November 4, with regional opening times accommodating players worldwide.
Key Content and Milestones
Level 1 through 60 leveling features nine new 5-player dungeons, wilderness camping, and an account-wide Legacy progression system. The initial raid tier opens on December 9 with the Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit, and Onyxia’s Lair.
